Goodwood Festival of Speed

Friday 10th July 2026 | Goodwood

We would be delighted for you to join Team Forces in the Team Forces Armed Forces Rally Tent at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where we will be supporting the Armed Forces Rally Team, a beneficiary of  Team Forces.

Held in the beautiful parkland surrounding Goodwood House, the Festival of Speed  is regarded as motorsport’s ultimate summer garden party — a celebration of one of the world’s most exciting and glamorous sports.  You will have a chance to meet members of the Armed Forces Rally Team and see their vehicles.  We will also be joined by a group of senior MOD hosts, primarily from the logistics and land equipment sector.

Outside of the hospitality timings, guests are very welcome to enjoy the Festival at their leisure. Full event information, maps and schedules are available via the Goodwood Motorsport App, which we recommend downloading in advance of the day.

The Armed Forces Rally Team

The Armed Forces Rally Team (AFRT) is a tri-service motorsport team made up of serving Armed Forces personnel and associated civil servants, competing in national and international rally events across a range of terrains and conditions. Originating from the Army Rally Team of the 1960s, the modern AFRT was established in 1996 and adopted its current name in 2005 to reflect its joint-service membership.

Recognised as an official Army Sport, the Team combines competitive rallying with the development of teamwork, resilience and technical skill. Crews and management are selected each year on merit, commitment and performance, with competitors testing themselves through the Armed Forces Rally Championship. Supported by Army Sport funding, sponsorship and the dedication of its members, the AFRT continues to represent the Armed Forces within UK motorsport while fostering camaraderie and professional development through rally competition.
