A number of sponsors generously offer their services as part of their support to sport and a great example is CARWOOD. Based in Coventry and a strong, Silver-level sponsor, Carwood sponsor a number of REME sports, disabled sport and a host of other activities. As an automotive company, motor racing is in their DNA and so not surprising that support to TeamBrit with its disabled drivers and the British Army Motorsport Association (BAMA) feature prominently in their Team Army portfolio and in particular the rally team and their fleet of racing Land Rovers. Of course maintenance and repair eat heavily into their budget and so the ability and willingness of CARWOOD to undertake some overhaul of engines and ancillaries is a real life line.
