Social Value as a Service (SVaaS)

To better support our sponsors in achieving more contract specific and higher Social Value (SV) Return on Investment (RoI) we have enhanced the Social Value Tool-Kit which enables higher PWin and tender scores. 

The latest addition to Team Forces Social Value as-a-Service offering is our new Social Value Impact Reporting service. This service positions your organisation’s Earned Value (EV) against the Social Value Model through a 4-step process:

 

  1. Audit against the 104 MAC Sub-Criteria
  2. Gap Analysis to identify contributions & missing areas
  3. Report impact & consolidate analysis & Continual Improvement (CI)
  4. Independent Assurance through quarterly and annual reviews (optional)

Team Forces sponsors receive a 30% discount on the price of this service. Team Forces already helps organisations demonstrate their commitment to Social Value (and the SV Tool-Kit is free to all sponsors) but quantifying SV RoI objectively can be challenging for companies that do not have in-house capabilities.

Team Forces is offering SVaaS following successful funded trials completed in Q4 2023. Those involved in the trial concluded that the service helped their companies better govern, monitor and measure Social Value impact when tendering and sustaining stakeholder confidence in delivery.

Evidencing historic and planned Social Value impact is now a key dependency in winning and retaining UK Government business with Social Value compliance now worth between 10 & 30% of the score in all tender evaluations. As a result, Team Forces’ new service better supports compliance to Cabinet Office requirements by leveraging sponsors’ contribution to our charities and Impact Projects.

One of our Impact Projects is the Ulysses Trust which enables Cadet Forces around the UK to undertake challenging and adventurous expeditions. Young people from very different backgrounds and geographies sharing challenges and hardship together means these expeditions are among the most effective vehicles to help social mobility, cohesion, inclusion and the levelling up agenda.

The Trust is delighted to be working with Team Forces, as we have so much common ground. I see great opportunity for both organisations that will undoubtedly benefit a range of young people – particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds and regions.
