It was certainly an unusual way of marking Remembrance Day – on a Kart racing track at Thruxton!  But there we were, 20 teams, drawn together to do battle on the track but to also mark the bigger battles of past conflict. A moving, trackside service of Remembrance and laying of wreaths was conducted in style by Padre Colin Jones. This was the prelude to Mission Motorsport’s ‘Race of Remembrance’ 2-hour endurance race on the twisting and challenging karting circuit at Thruxton. Let battle begin!

A huge amount of fun with teams, each of up to six drivers, charged around the track providing a fabulous opportunity to enjoy the thrills and spills of racing but also help raise funds for Mission Motorsport. As a Forces’ motorsport charity it helps many of those unfortunate to suffer after conflict regain their mojo, confidence and help on a pathway into the motor industry.

Team Ethos has been a supporter for many years and this event provided a great platform to introduce some of our many industry partners and supporters to MM and of course have a lot of fun in the process. All in Team Ethos indirectly contribute to our ability to support these worthy causes and it was fabulous to see L3 Harris, Microsoft, Fujitsu and of course our ‘petrol-head’ favourites, Carwood, take up the challenge last Sunday.

Thank you as always for your enthusiasm and support.
