Huge thankyou to Improbable Defence for supporting the Armed Forces

Team Forces is delighted that Improbable Defence – a British technology company dedicated to helping the UK and its allies transform training, planning and decision making – is now supporting us on our joint mission to foster wellbeing through sport and physical activity for our armed forces personnel.

As part of their sponsorship, Improbable Defence is supporting Armed Forces equestrian, rugby, cricket and rowing. They have also donated to the Team Forces ‘good causes’ fund, which offers grants to groups and communities wishing to undertake challenging, adventurous activities to help armed forces personnel, including WIS veterans.

James East, Customer Team Director at Improbable Defence & National Security, said, ‘We’re enormously pleased to support Team Forces and the armed forces community more widely. Improbable may have its roots in video games – but whether it’s in a virtual world or the real one, we strongly believe in the power of shared experience through games, sport and adventure to ultimately promote better health and wellbeing.’

Maj Gen Lamont Kirkland, CEO Team Forces, commented: ‘We are delighted that Improbable has joined the team and is committed to giving back to the armed forces community. Their support of activities which help to improve health, wellbeing and recovery will achieve social impact in the armed forces. This is particularly important at the moment as keeping active has been shown to vastly improve mental as well as physical health.’
