Polo and Entertainment at its best!

In a heat wave, under blue skies, a crowd of 6000+ and live streamed to an audience of even more, the 2022, Palantir-sponsored Rundle Cup polo match proved to be a roaring success.

Hosted by the Tedworth Park Polo Club, it broke all records for attendance. A truly family day with a carnival atmosphere and what must be a jewel in the crown of the summer season. With a free-fall parachute display; the wit and repartee of Simon Ledger keeping all entertained; the pitch surrounded by gazebos with families, the sound of popping corks and picnics and of course tremendous skill and action on the pitch … What a cracking day!

The Team Forces marquee was buzzing. Over 160 being entertained and soaking up the atmosphere with fine dining and the wonderful eclectic mix of sponsors, supporters, friends and family. Not only was it a first for Palantir, but also Juniper Networks celebrated their sponsorship of the Royal Navy Team and Caterpillar through their support of the match officials. All this funding enabling such a sport to be accessible to all ranks and opening unique opportunities.

Apart from the parachuting there was a full programme of supporting matches and entertainment including: the INSPIRE Foundation Match, the Heroes Cup and the Indian Cavalry Officers Association Trophy but the main event was the Army vs the Royal Navy competing for the Rundle Cup resulting in the Army snatching a 10-3 victory as the the final chukka ended.

So a massive thank you to that fantastic mix of all those that made it such a special day possible, especially to Palantir, Juniper Networks and Caterpillar.
