Team Forces is excited to announce that after IBM acquired Turbonomic, one of our bronze level sponsors, they decided to continue the relationship with Team Forces and also to increase their support for armed forces sport, challenge and adventure by moving to Silver level!

IBM is a global technology company that provides hardware, software, cloud-based services and cognitive computing. IBM aspires to make a lasting, positive impact on the world in business ethics, the environment, and in the communities where they work and live and Team Forces is delighted that they have chosen to support wellbeing in the Armed Forces community as part of their social corporate responsibility.

As part of their sponsorship IBM will be proudly supporting a range of activities across the Armed Forces sporting spectrum. In addition they will be donating to the Team Forces ‘good causes fund’ which offers grants to groups and communities wishing to undertake challenging, adventurous activities to help armed forces personnel, including WIS veterans.

Ed Gillett, Partner, IBM Consulting said, “IBM is proud to be increasing its commitment to Team Forces. With a rich history of supporting the Armed Forces and a desire to create new, more enriching experiences through the smart application technology in our everyday lives, we are delighted to be able to aide Team Forces in their tireless work improving the health, wellbeing and recovery of service personnel.”

Maj Gen Lamont Kirkland, CEO Team Ethos/Team Army commented: “With nearly three decades of leadership in business IBM is committed to being a responsible innovator and a force for good in the world. As another ‘force for good’, Team Forces is therefore delighted that IBM has chosen us as a conduit to help improve mental and physical wellbeing in the Armed Forces through sport, challenge and adventure. We are so pleased to have them on the team.”
