Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, is a world-leading design, engineering and project-management consultancy company. As part of their sponsorship it will be proudly funding a wide variety of armed forces sports, as well as supporting the Women in Defence movement and Capt Preet Chandi MBE (Polar Preet) on her epic expedition to become the first woman to complete a solo, unsupported crossing of Antarctica.
Atkins is also contributing to our ‘good causes’ fund which offers grants to groups and communities wishing to undertake challenging, adventurous activities which will help to improve health, wellbeing and recovery in armed forces personnel, including WIS veterans.
