We all had an incredible day yesterday at Thruxton race circuit with Mission Motorsport, a charity that supports veterans through the world of motorsport and the motor industry. The event was packed with thrilling activities, offering veterans and participants the chance to engage in various motorsport experiences, from racing around the track in high-performance cars to testing car control on the skid pan. A shoot-out race on the karting track and off-roading on an extreme circuit in Landrovers were just further hands-on activities for the petrolhead fans to have a thrill! Even the weather ended up being kind! Set up to launch the annual Race of Remembrance it also included the unveiling of a specially liveried jaguar to mark the occasion and lead up the the race in Nov.

The day wasn’t just about the motorsport though. It was a chance to connect with veterans and hear their stories, while sponsors and beneficiaries of the charity joined in to support the cause. The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie and purpose, highlighting the positive impact that these events have on the veteran community. Team Forces played a major role in sponsoring the activities which also enabled great employee-engagement and participation from a number of our enthusiastic Team Forces members. Thank you for the company and joining the day: Caterpillar, Carwood, Collins RTX, Infrastar, Leidos and Telent

Next one is the Birkett Relay on the 26th Oct!
