Team Forces is delighted to announce that Dataminr has increased its support to the armed forces community by becoming a Silver sponsor. Not only does our triple-amputee adventurer, Craig Wood, benefit directly from this uplift by supporting his record-breaking sailing expedition, but it will also help us deliver other social impact across the armed forces community through the power of sport, challenge and adventure.

Maj Gen Lamont Kirkland CBE, CEO Team Forces stated. “We are incredibly grateful for Dataminr’s enhanced commitment to Team Forces. Their increased support will be invaluable in allowing us to further our mission of delivering impactful programs across the armed forces community, enabling us to reach more individuals and create even greater positive change. This collaboration is a testament to our shared values of excellence and commitment to making a real difference.”

Gill Devine, Vice President, Dataminr said. “Dataminr is deeply committed to supporting the UK’s serving and veteran community. Strengthening our partnership with Team Forces reflects our values and underscores the profound respect we have for servicemen and women. We take immense pride in contributing to positive change for those in public service.”

As part of their sponsorship Dataminr will be supporting a variety of armed forces sports. They have also donated to the Team Forces ‘good causes’ fund, which offers grants to groups and communities wishing to undertake challenging, adventurous activities to help armed forces personnel, including WIS veterans.
