We are pleased to announce that Leidos, which provides digital and mission innovations to government and commercial clients, is renewing their silver-level support of Team Forces. Along with the engagement this offers, their support will be very much appreciated by UKAF cricket, motorsport and their continued support of the Army’s entry in the World’s Toughest Row later in the year.
Maj Gen Lamont Kirkland CBE, CEO Team Forces said: “I’m delighted that Leidos continues to support Team Forces. Their commitment aligns perfectly with our mission to enhance the lived experience of the armed forces community through sport, challenge, and adventure. We believe in the power of these activities to improve health, wellbeing, and recovery, fostering a culture of excellence, equality, and inclusion. Leidos’ ongoing involvement will strengthen our ability to deliver impactful programs and further our reach, ensuring we continue to help the best get better.”
Adam Clarke, Leidos UK, Chief Executive said, “At Leidos, we are immensely proud to support Team Forces and are delighted to continue this important partnership.
“Our involvement is further strengthened through our ongoing collaboration with Force Atlantic – the UK military’s first all-female team to row across the Atlantic. Their remarkable achievement exemplifies the resilience, teamwork, and pioneering spirit that closely reflect our own values.
“The work of Team Forces highlights our deep commitment to creating a positive social impact, and it is a privilege to stand behind inspiring individuals and teams like Force Atlantic as they continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible.”
As part of their sponsorship Leidos will be supporting a variety of armed forces sports. They have also donated to the Team Forces ‘good causes’ fund, which offers grants to groups and communities wishing to undertake challenging, adventurous activities to help armed forces personnel, including WIS veterans.
