What an incredible day we had last week at the Goodwood Festival of Speed! The sun was shining, and Team Forces was proud to be there in support of the Armed Forces Rally Team.

We were fortunate to be based in a prime location near the top of Goodwood Hill, close to both the drivers’ enclosure and the hill climb finish — the perfect spot to watch the cars fly past and catch a glimpse of the iconic Red Arrows overhead. We were hugely impressed by the nearly fifty sponsors and MOD hosts who made the steep climb up the hill to join us at the Armed Forces Rally Team marquee, especially on such a hot day. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect the defence sector with their end users, helping to strengthen relationships and share insights, all whilst enjoying a relaxed picnic together.

Attendees also had the pleasure of hearing from Major General Simon Hutchings, in his roles as President of the Armed Forces Rally Team and the British Army Motorsports Association. He gave an engaging update on the season so far and the challenges faced by the team and guests thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Alan Paramore, the Team Director, whose support throughout the day was greatly appreciated.

A special thank you goes to our sponsors, Carwood and Caterpillar Defence, for their ongoing commitment to the Armed Forces Rally Team and their vital support in enabling our drivers to compete.

Together, we continue to champion military sport and help extraordinary challenges come to life.
