Team Forces is proud to celebrate the renewed support of Teledyne Qioptiq as a Gold Partner, continuing one of our longest-standing and most valued partnerships in support of the Armed Forces community.
Having supported Team Forces since 2013, Teledyne Qioptiq has been one of our most loyal partners, helping enable countless opportunities for serving personnel, veterans and their families to take part in sport, challenge and adventure. Their continued commitment reflects a deep and enduring dedication to the wellbeing and resilience of the Armed Forces community.
Maj Gen Lamont Kirkland CBE, CEO Team Forces, said: “We are incredibly proud to celebrate Teledyne Qioptiq renewing as a Gold Partner of Team Forces. Their long-term commitment has made a genuine and lasting impact on the lives of serving personnel, veterans and families, and we are extremely grateful for the trust and support they continue to show Team Forces.”
As part of their renewed Gold Partnership, Teledyne Qioptiq will support a wide range of Armed Forces sports and adventurous initiatives supported by Team Forces, including Henry Wootton’s inspiring Golden Globe expedition challenge.
Earlier this year, Henry Wootton undertook the extraordinary challenge of sailing solo around the world in the prestigious Golden Globe Race – a challenge that embodies endurance, resilience and determination. Teledyne Qioptiq’s support for this expedition reflects the adventurous spirit and commitment to personal challenge that sits at the heart of Team Forces.
Team Forces works across the entire Armed Forces community, supporting individuals from all three Services as well as veterans and families. Through participation in sport and adventurous activities, individuals are able to challenge themselves, develop new skills and rediscover confidence during periods of transition, recovery or personal challenge.
In addition to supporting sports and expeditions, Teledyne Qioptiq’s partnership also contributes to the Team Forces Good Causes Fund, which provides grants to Armed Forces groups and communities – including Wounded, Injured and Sick (WIS) veterans – enabling them to undertake challenging and rewarding activities that promote resilience, teamwork and personal development.
Team Forces is honoured to continue working alongside Teledyne Qioptiq and looks forward to building on this exceptional partnership to create lasting, positive impact for the Armed Forces community.
