The Army v Navy match is not just another fixture. It is the biggest day in military sport and one of the most established events on the UK Armed Forces calendar.
Each year, the Royal Navy and British Army meet for the Babcock Trophy in a contest shaped by history, discipline and intensity. Closely fought encounters have become the norm, with recent matches decided in the final moments — a clear reflection of how evenly matched these teams are.
The day brings together both the Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s matches, welcoming serving personnel, veterans, families and supporters for a unique occasion that combines rivalry, tradition and service pride.
Timings for the Day
- 11:00 Gates open (scan their Allianz match ticket for entry) Team Forces Guests head towards Gate E and proceed to Lock 5 where you will be greeted. Please show your Team Forces PDF invite.
- On arrival in suite. Please go to your table and grab your name badge, before enjoying a drink!
- 11.55 Call to lunch
- 12:00 Lunch & welcome from Chair, UKAF Rugby
- 13:15 Q&A with guest speaker – Darren Edwards – also joining us other amazing beneficiaries
- 14:00 KO: Army Men v Navy Men (Babcock Trophy)
- 14:40 Cash bar open for half-time drinks
- 15:45 Full time: Afternoon tea served
- 16:45 KO: Army Women v Navy Women
- 17:15 Bar closes

Your tickets will be transferred during the week of the match. The QR code will activate shortly before kick-off. Once activated, simply scan the QR code on entry to the stadium. **

Allianz Stadium is well connected by rail and road.
- Twickenham Rail Station: approximately 10-minute walk
- Heathrow Airport: around 6 miles
- Road access: via the M3, M4 and M25
Please allow extra time on match day, as the area will be busy.
Parking
- Please note no parking is included with your booking
- Match-day parking at the stadium must be pre-booked via the official ticketing website. You need to register online and then you can click here.

What to Wear
Dress is smart casual and many guests choose to wear a jacket and tie or a dress. We encourage our sponsors to wear their Team Forces member ties or bracelets, if you have one. We will bring some along with us on the day, for those who wish to purchase additional ones.
