The Rundle Cup

You are invited to attend the official reception and lunch in the VIP marquee hosted by the President of Royal Navy Polo, Admiral Sir Keith Blount.

The Rundle Cup is the largest military polo event of the year and is often described as the polo equivalent of the Army v Navy rugby match at Twickenham — exchanging muddy shirts and pints for white polo kit and glasses of champagne.

Sponsored by Palo Alto Networks and held at Tedworth Park Polo Club, the day features three polo matches, culminating in the historic Army v Royal Navy contest for the Rundle Cup. The programme also includes a parachute display, music from the Band of the Royal Marines and a lively village of stalls, creating a wonderful summer atmosphere.

Guests begin with a champagne reception and lunch in the VIP marquee, before moving to the grandstand to watch the polo and enjoy the afternoon’s prize-givings.

Supporting Military Polo

Team Forces is proud to support the Rundle Cup, bringing together sponsors, military guests and beneficiaries while strengthening the connection between defence, industry and the Armed Forces community.

The Rundle Cup is the key event in the calendar for Tedworth Park Polo Club and raises funds for both the Royal Navy Polo Association and The Armed Forces Equine Charity. Tedworth Park Polo Club forms part of the charity, which supports serving personnel, veterans and para-polo players through equine sport.

The event will take place at Tedworth Park Polo Club, SP9 7AH.
