Team Forces is pleased to welcome SAS, a data and AI leader, as a Bronze-level sponsor. As an organisation committed to data-driven insight, innovation, and community impact, SAS aligns strongly with our mission to improve the lived experience of the armed forces community through the power of sport, challenge and adventure.

Maj Gen Lamont Kirkland CBE, CEO Team Forces, said: “We are pleased to welcome SAS to Team Forces. Their focus on empowering people and using insight to drive real-world change resonates with our values of resilience, personal development and inclusion. We look forward to a rewarding partnership that supports those who serve, have served, and their families.”

Roderick Crawford, Senior Vice President for SAS Northern Europe, said: “SAS are excited and proud to have joined with Team Forces. As a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant, we recognise the commitment and sacrifices both service persons, and those close to them, must make to protect our Nation in ever more uncertain times. SAS already offers tailored career opportunities for service leavers, and enhanced support for employees with service partners.”

“We are lucky to have veterans in the SAS team already, with a desire to grow this number in our commitment to act as a strategic partner to the MOD. This new relationship adds to this offer, by extending our contribution to the Armed Forces community to encompass sport, challenge and adventure.”

Team Forces supports individuals from all branches of the armed forces, including veterans and families. We believe that through participation in sport, challenge, and adventure, individuals can develop resilience, build confidence, and overcome personal challenges. Our initiatives provide opportunities for individuals to push their boundaries, discover their potential, and achieve personal growth.

As part of their sponsorship, SAS will support a variety of sports, challenges, and adventure activities across the armed forces community. They have also contributed to the Team Forces ‘good causes’ fund, which provides grants to support groups and communities undertaking transformational and adventurous activities that benefit serving personnel, including WIS (wounded, injured and sick) veterans.
