Team Forces is delighted to have supported another successful All Together Family Reconnection Weekend, helping military families reconnect, spend quality time together and build lasting memories through outdoor adventure.
Held at Cuffley Active Learning Centre in Hertfordshire, the second Family Reconnection Weekend of 2026 brought together military families for a packed programme of activities designed to strengthen family bonds while creating opportunities to meet others who understand the unique experiences of military life.
Throughout the weekend, families took part in a range of outdoor challenges including orienteering, archery, shelter building and team-based activities, encouraging confidence, communication and collaboration in a relaxed and supportive environment.
While the activities provided plenty of adventure and fun, the greatest benefit came from the opportunity for families to simply spend uninterrupted time together, reconnecting away from the pressures and demands that often accompany military life. The weekend also enabled families to develop new friendships and become part of a supportive community with shared experiences and understanding.

The Family Reconnection Weekends are delivered by Little Troopers and are made possible through the support of Team Forces and its partners, including IBM, Civica and Check Point. Together, they help create opportunities that promote wellbeing, confidence and connection across the Armed Forces community.
The positive impact of these weekends is reflected in the feedback from participating families, who consistently highlight the value of spending quality time together while building new friendships with others who understand the realities of military life.

Applications are now open for the third and final Family Reconnection Weekend of 2026, taking place from 4–6 September.
