Team Forces is delighted to celebrate the renewal of SAS‘ partnership, continuing a valued relationship dedicated to supporting the Armed Forces community. Their ongoing support helps Team Forces enable opportunities for serving personnel, veterans and their families to participate in sport, challenge and adventure – experiences that build resilience, improve wellbeing and support recovery.

Maj Gen Lamont Kirkland CBE, CEO Team Forces, said: “We are delighted that SAS has renewed its partnership with Team Forces. Partnerships like this are vital in helping us continue our work across the Armed Forces community. SAS shares our belief in the power of sport, challenge and adventure to inspire confidence, strengthen resilience and create opportunities for personal growth. We are grateful for their continued support and the positive impact it has on those who serve and have served.”

Team Forces works across the entire Armed Forces community, supporting individuals from all three Services, as well as veterans and families. Through participation in sport and adventurous activities, individuals are able to challenge themselves, develop new skills and rediscover confidence during periods of transition, recovery or personal challenge.

Alice Keating-Withers, Senior Account Executive – Defence, SAS UKI, stated: “As a trusted partner to the MOD, SAS is delighted to renew our partnership with Team Forces and support activities that strengthen resilience and teamwork across the Armed Forces community. We share a commitment to improving wellbeing and creating opportunities for serving personnel, veterans and their families.”

As a partner, SAS supports a range of Armed Forces sports and initiatives, while also contributing to the Team Forces Good Causes Fund. This fund provides grants to Armed Forces groups and communities – including Wounded, Injured and Sick (WIS) veterans – enabling them to undertake challenging and rewarding activities that promote resilience, teamwork and personal development.

Thank you SAS.
