Several years ago Dell Technologies was one of the first companies to join Team Army to help the best get better, and they have remained a loyal supporter ever since. We are incredibly proud to announce that Dell Technologies has recently renewed their Gold level sponsorship to support sport, challenge and adventure in the armed forces community.
Taking part in sport and adventurous training is an important part of service life and is critical to the morale, motivation and wellbeing of our forces. In addition to supporting grassroot activity, our partnership with Dell has also assisted elite athletes to compete at the highest level and increased the opportunity for those who are wounded, injured or sick to take part in activities which enhance their recovery journey.
Dell Technologies loyal support of armed forces rugby has enabled the men’s team to play their annual Remembrance match in first class stadiums, first at Bath and recently at Bristol. In addition, their support enabled the team to travel to Japan to take part in the International Defence Rugby competition in 2019. Dell has also supported the Women in Defence Awards since their inception and is now (through the Team Army Bounceback Fund) assisting Captain Preet Chandi, an Army physiotherapist who is planning an extraordinary expedition to trek unassisted to the South Pole this winter.
Tariq Hussain Senior Sales Director Dell Technologies Government & National Security said, “We are incredibly proud at Dell Technologies to continue our partnership with Team Ethos and understand how critical for morale, motivation and wellbeing forces sport provides in order to improve health and recovery. At Dell Technologies we’re determined to be a force for good. Knowing the importance of social impact, and the power of technology, we’re constantly asking how we along with our customers, partners and suppliers – can have a profound and positive impact on our social responsibility. Partnering with Team Ethos and the amazing work they do to fund sport, challenge and adventure in the armed forces community aligns with our own moonshot goals to inspire innovative thinking to propel our company’s positive social impact even further.”
Dell Technologies has set a tremendous example of companies who are prepared to walk the walk and fulfill their social responsibility by generously giving back to the armed forces community over several years.
We are really proud to have them as a Gold member and hope that their example will inspire others to raise their game.

ABOUT TEAM ETHOS / TEAM ARMY
Team Ethos and Team Army are co-brands of an MoD endorsed programme which helps to fund sport, challenge and adventure in the armed forces community in order to improve health, wellbeing and recovery. We help the best get better.
Sport, challenge and adventure are critical to the morale, motivation and wellbeing of our forces, yet taking part is often expensive and in some cases, beyond the means of our personnel. We conduct fundraising, attract sponsorship and make financial grants to make these activities more accessible. We also increase the opportunity for those who are wounded, injured or sick to take part in sports and activities which enhance their recovery journey. The programme helps defence suppliers raise profile and brand awareness as well as demonstrating social responsibility by visibly giving back to the armed forces community.
The programme is operated by Ethos Fundraising Ltd in collaboration with Team Army Sports Foundation. The brands Team Ethos and Team Army are interchangeable and applicable within the armed forces as appropriate. Since our launch in 2011, we have donated over £8m to the armed forces community.
