As part of their sponsorship Jet Connectivity will be proudly supporting a range of sports in the armed forces and will also be donating to the Team Forces ‘good causes’ fund which offers grants to groups and communities wishing to undertake challenging, adventurous activities to help armed forces personnel, including WIS veterans.
In addition, as experts in 5G maritime communications, Jet Connectivity are sponsoring 21-year-old Zara Lachlan who is hoping to set multiple world records by being the first woman and youngest person ever to row 3600 nautical miles solo and unsupported from mainland Europe to mainland South America. The gruelling expedition will see Zara, an aspiring technical officer in the Army, rowing for 15 hours per day from Portugal to French Guiana and is predicted to take 90 days from start to finish, ending in January 2025.
